Do British citizens need ETIAS for Ireland?
The only exception to the ETIAS requirement of entry for British visitors is the Republic of Ireland.
Although it is a member of the EU, Ireland forms the Commonwealth of Independent States (CDA) with the United Kingdom. Under the terms of the (CTA) Common Travel Area, UK nationals can travel freely to the Republic of Ireland without any visa or travel authorization.
