ETIAS Form Decision:

The application is generally similar to data that triggers a success file first screened in various settings such as SIS / VIS / EUROPOL DATA / SLTD (Interpol) / EURODAC / ECRIS. Otherwise, the application will be handled manually by competent authorities. In these cases, the decision on whether to grant or reject an application shall not exceed 96 (Ninety – six) hours from the date of submission of the application.

I have a criminal offense record; can I still apply for an ETIAS form for Europe?

Eligible citizens can obtain an ETIAS visa waiver for Europe without any complications, even if they have a criminal certificate for a minor offense. Passengers entering the zone without a Schengen passport are currently not asked about previous minor offenses.

Those who have served more than three years in prison or who have been sentenced to more than two years in prison for human trafficking or drug offenses may be denied ETIAS accreditation and entry into the Schengen area.

Can I apply again if my ETIAS form is denied to Europe?
