What is a Mexico E immigration Card?
A Mexico Tourist Card or FMM (“Forma Migratoria Multiple,” previously referred to as an FMT). If you plan to travel to Mexico for tourism, leisure, or business, you must obtain an FMM, an electronic entry authorization.
It is an Entry Immigration Form having data about your trip. The Tourist Card is valid for one person regardless of age or length of stay in Mexico. The Mexican Immigration Authority keeps the information you enter on the Tourist Card as an official record of your travel to Mexico.
When a Mexican FMM tourist card is stamped with an immigration stamp, it is valid for 180 days (upon arrival in Mexico).

What documents will I need after arriving at Mexico Airport?
Essentially, the FMM is a two-page document. As soon as you arrive at a border crossing (such as an international airport or highway checkpoint), British tourists should proceed directly to the lines for holders of the Mexican Tourist Card.

No. But it is advisable to bring a photocopy of the minor’s birth certificate showing both parents’ full names, date of birth, and nationality. Translate the birth certificate in English.
I am applying for FMM for me and my children (minor). Should I apply for a separate FMM for them?
Yes, each individual must have a separate passport. Ensure that your child’s Passport is valid at least for the next 06 (six) months.
Can I apply for a Mexico Tourist Card with a single name on my Passport?
- Passports with a single name will be declined.
- The individual must have a minimum of two names in a Passport including, the surname, to apply for a Mexico Tourist Card.
Should I provide a Covid-19 certificate for my FMM application process?

It is a mandatory requirement to take another COVID-19 PCR test on arrival at the Mexico International airport. If the test result shows positive, you need to self-quarantine and adhere to the Mexico Health Authority guidelines.
