Upon arrival in Somalia, travelers who do not have a COVID-19 negative test certificate are subject to a 14-day quarantine.

Egal International Airport has placed in place additional steps for those travelers flying to Somaliland to screen passengers arriving in Hargeisa by air, including temperature controls.

People showing virus-related symptoms may be moved to a nearby isolation facility while further tests are conducted.

Upon departure, travelers would need to demonstrate evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure from Somalia.
