The entrance of all travelers who are not residents or US nationals has been prohibited by American Samoa.
Entry permits, usually given in lieu of visas by American Samoa, are currently suspended. American Samoa nationals with a residency permit or Immigration Board approval can still enter the territory, as may US citizens, but travelers who have transited or been to Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, or Wisconsin are subject to screening for public health and may be subject to screening Passengers arriving from Samoa must receive health clearance 3 days prior to arrival from the Ministry of Health ( MOH) and present a completed “DOT Travel Declaration Form” upon arrival.
Passengers arriving from Hawaii who has been or have been traveling to countries infected by a coronavirus (COVID-19) must stay in Hawaii for 14 days and receive health clearance in American Samoa 3 days prior to arrival. They must also present and provide their itinerary upon arrival with a completed “DOT Travel Declaration Form”.
