Except for permanent residents and vital staff, Samoa has limited the entry of all passengers. Until traveling to Samoa, all travelers from outside New Zealand must spend 28 days in New Zealand and must comply with all the requirements. All passengers entering Samoa from New Zealand will be at a specified facility in quarantine for 14 days.
New Zealand travelers are expected to: complete the flight’s Health Declaration Card, take a COVID-19 test within three days of arrival, and undergo a medical examination by a licensed medical practitioner within three days of arrival. To board the plane, travelers must have a negative COVID-19 test and must not show any symptoms of coronavirus. On the plane, face masks must be worn.
All travelers are expected to present to health officers a hard copy of a COVID-19 examination and medical report on arrival. With people returning to the point of departure before Samoa, failure will result in denial of entry.
