Cote d’Ivoire has resumed low capacity flights. Currently, the government has suspended the issuance of visas, and only Côte d’Ivoire nationals, ECOWAS nationals (who do not need visas), other foreign nationals who already hold visas and residents are permitted to enter the country.
A negative COVID-19 test released within 5 days before departure for Cote d’Ivoire must be provided by travelers with proof.
At the cost of 2000 XOF, travelers must complete and apply an ‘AIR TRAVEL DECLARATION (DDVA)’ prior to departure.
On arrival, travelers must hand in this form and comply with the medical monitoring system placed in place by the authorities for anyone coming from outside Côte d’Ivoire. This requires the provision of temperature measurements and the recording of contact information.
Travelers with a positive-negative COVID-19 test and without any symptoms of COVID-19 will be able to reach Côte d’Ivoire and will be tracked for 14 days through SMS monitoring.
Travelers without any credible negative COVID-19 test results and with COVID-19 symptoms (body temperature above 38 degrees) can take a COVID-19 test at their own expense.
On arrival in Cote d’Ivoire, travelers will be advised to self-isolate for 14 days.
