A negative COVID-19 PCR test released within 7 days before arrival must be submitted by travelers, and an online Passenger Locator Form must be completed at least 48 hours before arrival.
No more health checks will be conducted on travelers with a negative COVID-19 PCR test given within 1-3 days prior to arrival.
Travelers with a COVID-19 PCR negative test given within 4-7 days prior to arrival will have to undergo a PCR test at their own cost upon arrival at Cheddi Jagan International Airport. When checked at the airport, travelers must wait until a negative test result is verified at the airport or at a government-approved facility; test results are usually available within 24 hours. The Government of Guyana would require the traveler to be quarantined for 14 days if the traveler tests positive.
