A negative COVID-19 PCR test result given within 96 hours prior to arrival in Kenya is expected to be presented by travelers entering Kenya. A mandatory 14-day quarantine would apply to travelers with a negative rapid test result.

Anyone exhibiting signs of COVID-19 will be subject to a 14-day quarantine at their home or at a hotel. All passengers will be screened on arrival.

Depending on their country of birth, the quarantine will extend to passengers. If they are symptomatic, travelers arriving from countries listed in this list are exempted from quarantine.

For monitoring passengers entering Kenya, Passenger Locator Cards (PLC, issued both on the flight and at the airport terminal) will be used. Visitors may be subject to quarantine restrictions if they seem symptomatic to other passengers within two rows of their seats.
