Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Liberia

Liberia’s airport has been reopened for commercial flights. Travelers must have a COVID-19 test result that is negative.

Liberia has reopened its airport for commercial flights, subject to the following conditions: all passengers will be required to take their temperature for COVID-19 symptoms and to register via USSD Mobile App telephone numbers. On arrival at RIA, all arriving passengers who have been checked at the point of departure must submit a clear negative result paper. A fast test and a PCR swab at the airport will be needed for all arriving passengers who have not been checked at the point of departure.

In the event of a positive rapid test outcome, the passenger will be put at the airport in the holding unit awaiting the result of the PCR test. b. Passengers with negative test results can go home before the final PCR test is done. Via USSD and Mobile App, there will be continued symptom tracking.
