Lithuania has allowed the self-isolation of travelers arriving from or transiting through the affected countries.

Lithuania has started to relax its restrictions on travel. While flights from outside the European Economic Area are still suspended for all but Lithuanian citizens and residents, travel restrictions have been lifted for travel from other countries in the broader European area. From August 10, to help Lithuania’s track and trace effort, before arriving, individuals traveling to Lithuania by air would need to complete a registration form. Registration forms can be completed on paper during the flight or online in advance.

The people and inhabitants of the European Economic Countries Region, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom may now enter Lithuania, as well as Lithuanian nationals and residents, if the incidence rate of COVID-19 in their country of residence had not exceeded 25 cases/100,000 in the last 14 calendar days. Those coming from countries with a population density of 16-25/100,000 must be quarantined on arrival for 14 days. The list of such nations is released by the State Commander of National Emergency Operations every Monday and can be found here.

A negative COVID-19 test released within 72 hours prior to entry into Lithuania must be submitted to international travelers arriving from the list of countries affected with an occurrence rate above 25 cases over the last 14 days, except in cases provided for by the Minister of Health.
