As per CDC, New Zealand is in Level 2 of COVID-19 transmission in significant areas. In New Zealand, the prevalence of COVID-19 infection is moderate. At the same time, the New Zealand Government has declared COVID Alert Level 3 for the Auckland and Waikato region.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, New Zealand’s borders are closed to almost all visitors. The travel restrictions apply to all air and sea arrivals in New Zealand. Nonetheless, New Zealand citizens and permanent residents are permitted to enter.

Other nationals don’t worry. If you prove that you have an urgent need to travel to New Zealand, you may be able to do so while the border is closed. But make sure you are fully vaccinated. In addition, you must adhere to the New Zealand Travel Restrictions and avoid travel to Auckland and Waikato region for the time to begin.

Passengers should follow New Zealand Travel Restrictions recommendations or requirements of New Zealand, including wearing a mask and staying 6 feet separately from other people.

The rules and regulations of New Zealand Travel Restrictions may be altered in the future. We frequently update our page in accordance with government regulations. Visit the Click2visas page for the most up-to-date information and plan your trip accordingly.
