According to CDC data, COVID-19 in Pakistan is now at 1st Level (Low Level of COVID-19 in Pakistan).

Pakistan presently accepts foreign people with valid residency permits and visas to enter the country with only the most basic of requirements.

If traveling by air, travelers will be subject to screening for Covid symptoms on arrival. The Pakistan Government guidelines suggest that international visitors self-quarantine for ten days after arrival.

All those who have a (NICOP) National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis or Pakistani Origin Card (POC) can enter Pakistan. There are some additional arrangements on arrival.

Travel banned

Currently, most visitors are allowed to enter Pakistan. But US travelers must get their vaccines (except 17 yrs old travelers). COVID-19 (Coronavirus) preventative measures differ from place to place.


Covid Vaccine for Travel

Currently, the Pakistan government only allows vaccinated travelers to enter their cities. There are seven 7 vaccines approved by the Pakistan government. Travelers are planning to travel to Pakistan. They must get the total vaccine doses.


Mandatory Covid Test

All passengers or travelers of age six years and above will need to process the valid negative PCR Covid test result taken within the 72 hours before travel to Pakistan.

Quarantine details

Travelers are needed to take a COVID-19 rapid test on arrival. In negative test results, passengers are not needed to quarantine. In cases found a positive for COVID-19 based on a test on arrival, applicants or travelers will be sent to government-selected locations for self-quarantine for (3) three days and must self-pay for these facilities.


COVID Test at Airport

Effective November 27, inbound travelers to Pakistan may be required to take a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) upon arrival at the airport.

Travel restrictions

Most Pakistani applicants and tourists are not permitted to travel internationally unless they have a vaccination certificate.

Travelers from Pakistan who do not have any previous travel history (see 35 additional countries) during the 14 days (2 weeks) before their arrival are allowed to enter the US.

All air passengers to the US are also required to provide contact information to airlines before boarding flights to the US.


Mandatory COVID test

The CDC – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued an order requiring all air passengers arriving in the United States from abroad to be checked one day before their flight departure and submit a negative result or documents for recovery from COVID-19.

Mandatory Quarantine

Mandatory self-quarantine is required for unvaccinated passengers for 5 days if they are tested.

If they are not tested, they need self-quarantine for 10 days.

No quarantine for completely vaccinated passengers, 2 weeks after their second dose.


Covid Test

All travelers are recommended to take a COVID-19 test 3-5 days after arriving in the USA.
