For travelers from Europe, Switzerland has relaxed restrictions.

Switzerland has started to relax its restrictions on travel. As well as nationals of Switzerland or Liechtenstein, travelers from countries within the EU, the United Kingdom, Iceland, and Norway can now enter Switzerland as of 15 June.

The country may still be entered by travelers from other countries who have the requisite visas and permits to enter and registered healthcare professionals. However, travelers who are not citizens, residents, or family members of nationals/residents of the EEA Member States or of the United Kingdom may not pass through Switzerland on their way to another Schengen Member State from a non-Schengen Member State. For certain types of business travelers that have obtained advance approval, special exemptions exist.

In some cases, special allowances also exist for travelers coming from Germany or Austria. Visitors who have spent the past 14 days in those countries are subject to a 10-day quarantine on arrival. Find the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health’s website for an updated list of these countries.
