Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Tanzania

No entry restrictions have been enforced in Tanzania, but all arriving travelers are subject to medical screening upon arrival, and monitoring information for all foreign travelers is collected by the government. Passengers must have evidence of a negative COVID-19 test administered within 72 hours before boarding their flight to reach Tanzania.

If they are suspected of COVID-19 infection, the airline crew will be isolated. The crew of the airline arriving in Zanzibar (ZNZ) will be quarantined at allocated hotels of the airline. Upon arrival, a completed “Health Form” should be submitted to the Ministry of Health staff.
