Travelers from Green Zone countries are not expected to undergo self-isolation or on-arrival observation.

Travelers coming from countries in what the Ukrainian authorities refer to as the ‘red zone’ (where the incidence of COVID-19 in the preceding 14 days was higher than in Ukraine and/or where the incidence increased by more than 30% in the preceding 14 days) are expected to undergo 14 days of self-isolation, as demonstrated by the ‘Dii Vdoma’ monitoring software (requires Ukrainian cell phone number) or quaranium isolation.

Compulsory self-isolation or quarantine is no longer needed if a passenger is subjected to a PCR test and receives a negative result no more than 48 hours prior to arrival in Ukraine or once in Ukraine. In addition, children under the age of 12 years of age, drivers, and crew members of freight vehicles, buses, trains, locomotives, airlines, sea and river vessels are not needed to undergo self-isolation or quarantine unless they have been in touch with a COVID-19 male.

Both foreign nationals must have a Certificate of Health Insurance. Such health insurance certificates shall be issued by a company registered in Ukraine or by a foreign insurance provider having a representative office in Ukraine and/or a partner in Ukraine in the context of the treaty ties with the insurance company. The health insurance certificate shall cover the expenses associated with the care and observation of COVID-19 and must be valid for the visitor’s entire stay in Ukraine.

The insurance policy obtained via the platform can be deferred to the tourist for the duration needed. It is possible to execute the date change procedure many times.
