Overview of Boeing 737-800:

Boeing 737-800 has 16 First class seats, 102 Economy class seats, 48 Economy plus seats. United Airlines’ B737-800 serves routes within North America. This features United’s current Economy plus class of service featuring up to 5 inches extra seat pinch.

The height of the aircraft is 12.5 m (41 feet 3 inches). The engine used here is CFM – 56. The Length of the aircraft is 39.5 m (129 feet 6 inches), and the wingspan is 35.8 m (117 feet 5 inches).

1.Audio:

On select aircraft, Audio Video on Demand is available

2.Video:

United Airlines has installed Direct TV on select 737-800 Next-Generation aircraft to provide passengers 100s of TV channels, new release Hollywood movies, and to ensure passengers will be relaxed and entertained for the entire flight.

3.Food:

Non-alcoholic beverages are offered as complimentary. Alcoholic beverages are provided free of cost in Business/First class (Premium Cabins), whereas it needs to be purchased in an Economy class. On select aircraft, premium alcohol will also be available for purchase.

Economy Class:

Bistro onboard offerings and Snacks shop available for purchase on most flights. Complimentary snacks or meals are available on the Caribbean, Trans-Pacific (excluding the continental US to and from Hawaii), select Latin America, Trans-Atlantic, Micronesia, South American, and Intra-Pacific flights.

Premium Class:

The food offered on premium cabins is purely dependent on our journey time. If our travel is within 2.5 hours, then snacks will be provided on the flight. And if our flight journey is 2.5 hours and exceeds, full meal service provided with on the plane. 

4.Internet:

United Airlines offers internet services on all 738 flights (outside of Micronesia). Internet connection will be available once the aircraft reaches 10,000 feet. The connection is available for Mobile phones as well as for Laptops.

5.AC Power:

All Economy plus seats and first-class seats will be provided with AC power ports, and it doesn’t require an adapter.

Seating in Boeing 737-800:

Seats are segregated with First Class, Economy Plus and Economy seats. First Class will be on near to the Pilot cabin. There present 16 seats in the First class, which comes with a recliner. Seats 1A, 1B, 1E and 1F (whose proximity to the lavatory and galleys might be bothersome) also has Bulkhead seats in addition to the recliner whereas seats 2A, 2B, 2E, 2F, 3A, 3B, 3E, 3F, 4A, 4B, 4E, 4F comes with recliner alone. 

Seats such as 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, 7E, and 7F are the Standard Economy Plus with Bulkhead Seats.

· 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D, 8E, 8F

· 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D, 10E, 10F

· 11A, 11B, 11C, 11D, 11E, 11F

· 14A, 14B, 14C, 14D, 14 E and 14F.

15A, 15B, 15C, 15D, 15 E, and 15 F are the Standard Economy Plus seats that may be limited to recline as exit row is present at its back.

Seats 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D, 20E, 20F are the Standard Economy Plus seats, with extra legroom as the exit is in front. But there is a limited recliner as exit row is also present at the backside.

21A, 21B, 21C, 21D, 21E, and 21F are the Standard Economy Plus seats, with extra legroom as the exit is in front.
