Zambia has reopened its airports, but international flight availability remains minimal. All tourist visas have been revoked for Zambia. Non-residents entering Zambia within the past 14 days must produce a negative COVID-19 test result. Travelers can also have their temperature checked or by nasal swab on arrival to be screened for COVID-19. After entering the country, all residents must spend 14 days in self-quarantine at their residence or preferred place of stay.

The quarantine would not extend to visitors who are not locals. If requested, travelers must notify officials from the Ministry of Health of where they will be staying and provide them with their contact information. The 14-day self-quarantine cycle must be completed by passengers, even though their COVID-19 test result is negative. Anyone entering Zambia with COVID-19 symptoms will be taken to government care and quarantine facilities.
